What does the name “Kaizen” mean?
Kaizen is a Japanese word that consists of two characters.
The first is “Kai” which means to change, alter, renew, correct, reform, improve, or revise.
The second character is “zen” which means good, goodness, or virtue.
Thus, the concept of the word Kaizen is to alter something in order to improve it.
